EFOG.TECH® Ball Transfer Units

A Ball Transfer Unit is a load-bearing sphere (the load ball) resting on a bed of smaller bearing balls. The part code tells you what each is made of and how big they are.

Bearing ball Ø

Diameter of the small bearing balls, in millimetres. More than one digit implies a decimal point. Here 3 = 3 mm, and 1588 = 1.588 mm.

Load ball Ø

Diameter of the load ball, in millimetres. More than one digit implies a decimal point. Here 8 = 8 mm, and 58 = 5.8 mm.
